It’s crunch time for the Detroit Lions. It’s Week 15 and the Lions continue to be in a do-or-die situation thanks to a win over the Buccaneers last week.
This week, they’ll have to take on the 4-9 Chicago Bears, a team they defeated less than four weeks ago.
However, the Bears are riding high after their best team performance of the year. They absolutely dominated the Bengals 33-7 in Cincinnati. The Bears were led by outstanding performances from their running backs. Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen combined for 227 rushing yards (6.5 YPC).
While the Lions have been struggling as of late, Matthew Stafford is continuing to have one of his best statistical seasons. Since the bye week, Stafford is completing 70.4 percent of his passes for 9.3 yards per attempt and a 105.9 passer rating.
So with both team’s offenses firing on all cylinders, we could be in for a shootout on Saturday. Yes, that’s right. The Lions play on Saturday this week in front of a national audience.
