LISTEN: Best Lions radio calls from Dan Miller vs. Chicago Bears

“Oh Marvin, you’re spectacular.”

NFL: Chicago Bears at Detroit Lions Tim Fuller-USA TODAY Sports

It’s been awhile since we’ve check in with our friend Dan Miller, the official Detroit Lions play-by-play radio announcer. Now that the Lions have finished their season sweep of the Chicago Bears with a decisive 20-10 victory, it seems like a good time to see what Dan is up to.

Here are his best radio calls of the day.

“Oh Marvin, you’re spectacular,” Miller screamed when Jones hauled that pass in over Bears safety Eddie Jackson. But Miller also rightfully gave credit to Stafford on the play. “Both ends of that play: Stafford staying alive, throwing it downfield 58 yards to Marvin Jones!”

But Marvin Jones wasn’t the only one with an impressive grab. Tight end Eric Ebron elevated to haul in his third touchdown of the season.

“He had to climb the ladder to get it, he got it,” Miller exclaimed.

That was the second touchdown pass from Stafford on the day. His first, to TJ Jones, was a brilliant play call from Jim Bob Cooter. Miller approved, too.

But why enjoy the individual plays when you can listen to them all together? Thankfully, WJR radio mixed all of the highlights together in one nice package. Enjoy Dan Miller at his best: During a Lions victory.

Thanks to Dan Miller for being as awesome as you are.
