The Detroit Lions are halfway to their goal. At just 6-6 two weeks ago, the Lions were in a situation where they absolutely had to win out to even have a shot at making the playoffs. They’ve disposed of their first two opponents, and to finish the job they’ll have to take out two teams that are mathematically eliminated from postseason contention.

First on the list is the Cincinnati Bengals, losers of five in their last seven. The Bengals are beat up, their coach is reportedly quitting after this season (or not), and they’ve looked completely outmatched in their past two games.

After a showdown on national television, the Lions are back on FOX this week, and we’ll see a familiar face in the broadcast booth. That’s right, former Lions linebacker Chris Spielman will be the color commenter. That’s especially exciting because we may get a “Good job, Joe Dahl!” for the first time during a regular season game.

Here’s all of the other gameday information you need for Week 16.
