The Detroit Lions could be down three starters on the offensive line on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. They have already declared starting center Travis Swanson out, while right guard T.J. Lang doubtful for this week’s game.
Swanson actually returned to practice on Friday, signaling that he’s close to finally getting through concussion protocol. There’s a significant chance now that he could play in the Lions’ season finale against the Green Bay Packers.
Lang missed all three practices this week as he continues to heal from a foot injury suffered a few weeks ago. There’s a small chance he could still give it a go this week, but I wouldn’t count on it.
Right tackle Rick Wagner is questionable for Sunday. He has missed two straight games with an ankle injury suffered in Baltimore. This would be a good week for him to return considering all of the other injuries on the offensive line.
Two Lions players also popped up on the report on Friday with an illness. Backups Rodney Coe and Brian Mihalik are questionable vs. Bengals.
For the Bengals, key starters linebacker Vontaze Burfict and running back Joe Mixon were not listed on the final injury report, meaning they have completed concussion protocol and should play.
However, starting offensive tackle Cedric Ogbuehi has been declared OUT. Here are the full injury reports
