Week 16 is here, which means there are only two more games left for 20 of the 32 NFL franchises. We’re still not sure if the Detroit Lions will be among those 20 teams, but it’s probably best to savor these last few games of the season just in case.
Unfortunately, Week 16 kicks off with a game that’s completely irrelevant to the Lions’ interests. Saturday afternoon kicks off with an AFC matchup between a team completing for the second overall pick in the draft and a team hanging onto one of the final playoff spots in the conference.
It’s not a very intriguing matchup for Lions fans, but maybe you’re with family and you’ve already had it with the political talk. Or maybe the college football bowl games just aren’t cutting it. Or maybe you’re the head of the Jacoby Brissett fan club and you need more material for your weekly newsletter.
Either way, we’re here for you. Come watch together, fam.
