Lions-Ravens inactives: Abdullah OUT, T.J. Lang ACTIVE

The Lions will be without their starting running back for the first time all year.

NFL: Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears Dennis Wierzbicki-USA TODAY Sports

Despite being listed as “Questionable” and despite participating in practice (albeit limited) this week, the Detroit Lions will be without their starting running back, Ameer Abdullah (neck), and will have to rely on Theo Riddick as their premier back.

Jamal Agnew and Travis Swanson are two big names that the Lions will also be missing, though they were already declared out on Friday’s injury report. The only other Lions player listed on the injury report, guard T.J. Lang (foot), will be active for Sunday’s matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. With Swanson out, this likely means that Graham Glasgow will shift over to center and either Corey Robinson or Don Barclay will fill in at left guard.

With both Abdullah and Washington listed as inactive, this means that Tion Green will make his regular season debut at running back for the Lions.
