The Detroit Lions started off extremely slow against the Baltimore Ravens, looking confused on both sides of the ball. Things only turned worse in the second quarter when Matthew Stafford was sacked and gave up the ball, a turnover that led to an ensuing score by the Ravens.

However, that may not have been the most devastating part of the play. Right tackle Rick Wagner went down on the play with an apparent ankle injury. He was forced to leave the field on a cart. The team announced that he would be doubtful to return, and it was Brian Mihalik who came in on the next offensive possession.

The Lions have dealt with plenty of injuries on the offensive line this year, but were just starting to look healthy. Losing Wanger would be an absolute nightmare, not only for the remainder of this game but in subsequent weeks. With Stafford getting beat up on Thanksgiving and the ground game struggling as always, Detroit has little margin for error on the offensive line.
