Sunday open thread: There’s no football, what are you doing today?

It’s our first football-less Sunday five months, what are you doing to fill the void?

NFL: Denver Broncos at Detroit Lions Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

The Detroit Lions are already over a month into their offseason, but it still hasn’t really kicked in. After Detroit was downed by the Seahawks, each subsequent week has been filled with distraction games to steer me away from the fact that the football season was ending.

But with Super Bowl 51 now in the books, there’s nothing to save us from the depths of the offseasons. It’s here, and the sooner we all accept that, the sooner we will be able to carry on with our lives.

So today’s Question of the Day is:

Now that we have entered the realm of football-less Sundays, what are you going to do with the day?

My answer: Read. Over the past few years, I have fallen so far behind on my reading goals, that I’m desperate to start getting back into the habit. I have a couple books in my queue already, but if anyone else has any suggestions (I prefer non-fiction, but am starting to branch out into more novels), I would love to hear what you all are ready. I’m going to try and finish at least 6-8 books before the season starts back up, so hit me up with your recommendations.

Your turn.
