- The Detroit Lions brought in free agent cornerback K’waun Williams in for a visit this week, but according to the Detroit Free Press’ Dave Birkett, Williams left Detroit and will make his other team visits. It is unclear whether the Lions offered him a contract. On Tuesday, ESPN Michael Rothstein reported that Williams has visits lined up with the Dolphins, Jets, 49ers and Vikings.
- The NFL announced all of the college prospects who will be participating in the NFL Combine, which starts on February 28.
- ESPN’s Bill Barnwell listed five moves every NFC North team should make this offseason. One interesting suggestions for the Lions: sign former Titans wide receiver Kendall Wright.
- Starting on Wednesday, NFL teams can designate a player for the franchise tag. The Lions are not expected to use the tag this year.
