Notes: How would the Lions re-draft if Taylor Decker was gone?

What would the Detroit Lions have done if Taylor Decker wasn’t available in the 2016 draft?

  • ESPN is already re-drafting the 2016 NFL Draft (ESPN Insider required) after just one year of play. While the Detroit Lions would be more than happy re-drafting Taylor Decker all over again, it didn’t turn out that way in ESPN’s mock. Decker was chosen by the Titans right before the Lions pick. Michael Rothstein, instead, was forced to pick linebacker Deion Jones from LSU, who was actually picked by Falcons in the second round.

  • Lions tight end Tim Wright continues to rehab from a torn ACL. By the looks of this video, he will be more than ready to play in 2017. Wright will be a free agent on March 9.
