We had a lot to work with this week here at the Pride Of Detroit PODcast. Meager news still made for fertile ground as we gear up here for coverage of the NFL Scouting Combine and all the draft talk that will entail. There’s also news on the free agency front, and we cover all of that and more this week, to be sure.
However, we also partitioned off a very delectable listcast because this episode went so long. It’s a great listcast, all about the best fast food items you can get in America. We were inspired by the Ringer’s list and decided we needed to answer with our own. However, that’s coming out separate. If you subscribe to the PODcast or follow us on social media, you’ll be able to hear it when it releases later this week. It’s a super-sized one and we’ve got plenty of hot takes straight for your ears. You can’t miss it, so subscribe now using the links below.
(We’re honestly thinking this might be the way to go in the future. Let us know if you think the listcasts should stay part of the main PODcast staple or should spin off to their own semi-regular episodes on our feed.)
Download and subscribe to the PODcast now on iTunes, or follow us on Stitcher.
This week on the PODcast
- The franchise tags are in and free agency starts to tighten up. We react to all the taggings and how it has affected the free agent market starting next week.
- We talk about the combine, what to watch for, how to watch it and how to avoid hype pitfalls with the best prospects, plus how to pick out the sleepers from the crowd.
- A NFL scouting combine spotlight on Kareem Hunt, the running back out of Toledo, and why many Lions fans are eyeing him as a mid-round lock.
- Our mailbag touches on transition tagging the offensive line, hot takes about steaks and Malik McDowell-sized Taco Charltons and Taco Charlton-sized Malik McDowells.
