Notes: Should the Detroit Lions add Colin Kaepernick?

One Lions site thinks Detroit should add the veteran quarterback. What do you think?

  • Ty Schalter and Erik Schlitt of The Lions Wire came up with an interesting argument for the Detroit Lions to add quarterback Colin Kaepernick to the team as their primary backup. Though they admit it won’t happen, they do make a compelling argument as to why it should.

"Wagner, who is expected to play right tackle in Detroit, has shown some excellent play, but he had a few worryingly poor performances in 2015. He allowed 52 total QB pressures and did not run block well that season. He had a bounce-back season in 2016, but his career has been more of a roller coaster and has lacked consistency"
