Ask POD: Opening day just means football is closer

I love Opening Day. It’s a faint reminder of the cloying melancholy of baseball, an urge to remember a better time when there was never such a thing. The weather keeps getting worse as our planet chokes and dies; but who doesn’t love sport conducted in a grey tempest? I do love baseball though. It’s good.

The Pride Of Detroit mailbag is not only good, but it’s excellent. Here, you can ask the staff anything you’d like—really, anything—and we’ll answer it during the Pride Of Detroit PODcast. We do this for you, we do it for the culture and we do it for ourselves. You could ask about the Detroit Lions, or even the Tigers gearing up to start baseball, but you could just as well ask us about video games or ballpark food or life predicaments.
