The Detroit Lions finished their evaluation of free agent linebacker Zach Orr on Monday morning without signing the former All Pro. However, according to Orr’s agent, the visit with the doctors went great, even if the Lions did not officially say whether Orr passed the physical or not:
Zach Orr's agent Robert Sheets @KRS3Sports just told me that t/ #Lions nvr articulated "pass vs fail" but conveyed "everything looks great."

“Everything looks great” seems to imply that Orr is physically in the clear in the Lions’ eyes. After Ravens doctors told him back in January that his congenital spine issue should be cause for Orr to retire, that’s good news for the linebacker.
However, no deal with the Lions is imminent. Orr’s agent has told reporters multiple times now that his client will visit with several of the teams interested in him. In fact, he told ESPN Josina Anderson that he will visit two such teams on Friday, including the New York Jets:
Agent @KRS3Sports tells me that LB Zach Orr is traveling for his 2nd visit now. Expects to travel for his 3rd visit with the #Jets tonight.

Zach Orr told SiriusXM that the other team is the Colts, and the Lions are expected to contact him later in the day:
.@ZO35 tells @SiriusXMNFL he just arrived for UFA visit with @Colts & slated to visit @nyjets next. Expects to hear from @Lions later today

Thursday night, Orr’s agent said there are up to 16 teams interested in the linebacker, so this process may take a while. For now, however, it looks like the Detroit Lions are pleased what they saw physically in Orr, which means they could very well be in the mix once teams start the bidding process on him.
