- Over The Cap looked at the amount of roster turnover for every team in the NFL. The site, which typically focuses on contract details, used four factors in determining how much roster turnover there was for each team: percentage of snaps lost, quality of snaps lost, special teams snaps lost and the average salary of players lost. According to Over The Cap, the Detroit Lions—despite making the playoffs last year—have the 11th-most roster turnover in the league this year.
