- A few days ago, Pro Football Focus had a “foundation draft” that had Matthew Stafford as just the 14th-ranked quarterback to build a franchise around.
SB Nation did a similar draft this week, throwing all current quarterbacks into a draft and drafting them to new teams based on their value for the future. This time, Stafford went fifth overall to... the Chicago Bears. To make things even more crazy, with the ninth overall pick in the draft, the Detroit Lions took... Aaron Rodgers.
