Sunday open thread: Are you going to Detroit Lions training camp?

Training camp starts in a week. Who’s going?

NFL: Detroit Lions-Training Camp Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

In just over a week the wait will finally be over. Starting next Monday, July 31, the Detroit Lions will open training camp will be open to the public. It will be the first time Lions fans will be able to get a look at the 2017 Detroit Lions.

The Lions are scheduled to hold seven open training camp practices, including their annual mock game at Ford Field. This year, you do not need to obtain tickets, but rather just show up (although, they will turn away fans if they reach capacity, so show up early.)

Today’s Question of the Day is simply:

Are you going to Detroit Lions training camp this year? And if so, how many times?

My answer: Sadly, I’m still stuck here in Los Angeles, but I do know that plenty of the Pride Of Detroit staff will be there for much, if not all, of training camp. We will be sure to have extensive coverage of the next two weeks of camp, including observations from practice, Facebook Live recaps and any news that comes about in the lead up to the preseason.

Your turn.
