Lions notes: Matthew Stafford buys $3.85 million home in Atlanta

• Read into this however you’d like, but Matthew Stafford purchased a $3.85 million home in Atlanta, according to Atlanta Business Chronicle. (h/t to commenter mongo71 for the tip)

Stafford obviously has a strong base in Georgia. He went to college there, his wife Kelly is from there, and they are both good friends with Matt Ryan and his family.

So maybe he’s just spending some of that signing bonus a little early?
