The Detroit Lions and Indianapolis Colts will kick off the first of two back-to-back joint practices on Thursday morning. This will be just the second time the Lions will practice alongside another NFL team since the year 2000. Last year, the Lions teamed up with the Pittsburgh Steelers for a couple joint sessions before their preseason game.
Unfortunately, the two practices between the Lions and Colts will be closed to the public, which means we probably won’t get a lot of pictures or video of the sessions. However, there will be beat writers on hand from both teams that will likely give us a fair share of updates during and after practice.
So follow along with our Lions News Twitter list for any and all updates from Indianapolis.
Let’s hope for some nice, clean practices with no injuries on either side, and if the Lions end up looking like the more impressive team, that would be nice, too.
