The Detroit Lions are back on the field after taking a day off on Tuesday. With their preseason game just three days away, the Lions begin their preparation for the New York Jets.
I, personally, will be at training camp practice on Wednesday, keeping a keen eye on the team. Presuming he practices, I’ll get a very close look at new Lions defensive end Giorgio Newberry, who the Lions signed earlier on Wednesday.
I’ll also see what the new rotation on the defensive line will be now that Detroit has suffered big losses in Kerry Hyder and Brandon Copeland.
If there’s anything else you’d like me to keep an eye on, let me know in the comments. Practice begins at 3:30 p.m. ET.
As always, you can stay up to date on everything that happens during training camp with our Lions Twitter list below (if you don’t see it, click on the link). I will be providing my observations in a separate piece after practice ends.
