Now that the Detroit Lions have started wearing pads at training camp, the real work begins.
So far in camp there have been several standouts. Rookie Kenny Golladay has lived up the the minicamp hype. Alex Carter seems to be shifting nicely to his new role as a safety. New Lions tight end Darren Fells may be the star of the first three days of practice. There are a handful of others that have made a good case for themselves, while others have a lot left to prove. But training camp is still young, and there’s still a lot of time for players to make their impressions with the coaches and front office.
Today, our Pride of Detroit regulars will be in attendance at camp. Alex Reno (@alex_reno) and Kent Lee Platte (@mathbomb) will be providing live updates via Twitter, and they’ll have your post-practice coverage right here after the conclusion of the day.
Practice begins again at 3:30 p.m. ET. So follow along with live updates on our Twitter list.
