Last week, former NFL receiver Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson teased about attending Detroit Lions camp, asking Twitter, “Can someone take me Lions training camp next week please?” Well, it looks like he is following through on that request, as he announced on Twitter that he’ll be attending Lions camp on Friday:
We know you're always open, but we're not tomorrow (#LionsCamp off day).

Catch us Friday morning?
I love you guys & I'll see you Friday. https://t.co/U8yfKRf0Gs

Johnson has been out of the league since he lost his chance with the Miami Dolphins in 2012 after a domestic dispute arrest. In his 11-year career, Johnson racked up 11,059 yards, 67 receiving touchdowns and six Pro Bowl bids.
Since leaving the NFL, Johnson has kept himself busy with brief stints in the CFL and even a Mexican football league.
Though Johnson is likely only attending Lions camp as a visitor, it should be interesting to see the jovial personality on the sidelines, especially since Lions camp has been sparsely attended thus far.
While in Detroit, Johnson has been watching his daughter compete in the junior olympics. He also has a little something planned for natives of Detroit:
Thank you, looking to take 100 people in the Detroit area to see "Detroit" at a theatre that can accommodate all of us. https://t.co/R67eguKOOQ
