Chad Johnson stopped by Detroit Lions practice on Friday in a relatively uneventful cameo. He didn’t pull any antics or stunts, as one may have thought, but he did spend some time introducing himself to the Lions’ receivers, including his fellow former Bengal Marvin Jones Jr.:
After camp, Johnson shared his thoughts about the Lions on social media. Taking over the Lions’ snapchat, Johnson said, “The players look good, the team itself looks good.”
But Johnson had something very specific to say regarding Lions’ rookie receiver Kenny Golladay:
That young boul Golloday has that "IT" factor ®

Golladay has already been earning rave reviews throughout the entire offseason. What started out as typical hype during rookie minicamp has exploded into big expectations for the young receiver.
Throughout training camp, Golladay has looked sharp both as a route-runner and a receiver. Here’s just a sampling of his play during Friday’s practice:
Kenny Golladay is going to be a tough cover in the #NFL. Big, strong. Abusing some #Lions DB's this morning.

Kenny Golladay just torched Teez, who offered weak jam. Golladay got 6 yards on him on a 40 yard route

Golladay on Bademosi isn't really fair, catch every time.

Golladay is still firmly third in the Lions’ depth chart behind Marvin Jones and Golden Tate, but as he continues to draw attention from fans and media alike, one has to wonder if he’ll have a bigger role in his rookie year than previously thought.
