The Detroit Lions kick off their annual mock game in a matter of minutes. Soon those in attendance at Ford Field will get their first look at the team in a game-like situation.
Not only that, but fans are being treated to the new look of Ford Field. Detroit is showing off just some of their $100 million-worth of renovations, including their new 13 x 52 feet scoreboards on each end of the field.
If you weren’t one of the many who will be in attendance at Ford Field today, don’t worry, we’ve got your back. Our Pride of Detroit staff will have four members in Detroit today, live-tweeting and giving full coverage of the event. Ryan Mathews (@Ryan_POD), Alex Reno (@alex_reno), Kent Lee Platte (@mathbomb) and Justin Simon (@justincsimon) will be representing Pride of Detroit.
As always, we have our Twitter list giving continual live updates below, but feel free to share your own observations in the comment section below if you’re at the event.
Let’s hope for an entertaining scrimmage and no injuries!
