Sunday open thread: Super Bowl LII picks

The Pride of Detroit staff gives their Super Bowl picks for the 2017 season.

The 2017 NFL season may have technically began on Thursday, but today is the day it really starts. 24 teams begin their campaign to reach Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis.

After the New England Patriots were downed in the season opener, it seems like the field is open. (Mind you, the Patriots are going to be fine, just not the unbeatable behemoth some were making them out to be.)

The dreams of all 32 teams are still intact, and every year a team comes out and shocks everyone. Anything is possible. Any given Sunday. Preseason cliche #3.

Today’s Question of the Day is:

Who are your picks for Super Bowl LII?

Here are all of our picks from the Pride of Detroit staff:

Kyle Yost: Patriots over Cowboys
Mike Payton: Giants over Patriots
Ryan Mathews: Patriots over (NFC Team goes here)
Jeremy Reisman: Seahawks over Raiders
Justin Simon: Seahawks over Steelers
Andrew Kato: Steelers over Cowboys
Alex Reno: Steelers over Seahawks
Kent Lee Platte: Lions over Browns
Christopher Perfett: Browns over Falcons (“Honestly this is the only scenario I could find that would be more insulting to Atlanta than last year.”)

Your turn.
