Despite being listed as “Questionable” on this week’s injury report, the Detroit Lions will have defensive end Ezekiel Ansah (knee) ready to suit up against the Arizona Cardinals for their Week 1 matchup. That’s huge for the Lions, who have been without Ansah since the start of training camp. It was expected that Ansah should be ready to go on Sunday, as there is no more “Probable” designation on the injury report, and coaches have been optimistic about his return.
Also listed on the report as “Questionable” were Kenny Golladay (ankle) and Corey Robinson (foot). Despite promoting Storm Norton to the main roster early in the week, the Lions have listed him as inactive. Robinson is also listed as inactive, surprisingly. Golladay will be ready to go to make his first appearance in a regular season NFL game.
Here is the full list of inactives for the Lions:
WR Jared Abbrederis
CB Teez Tabor
RB Zach Zenner
G Zac Kerin
RB Tion Green
OT Corey Robinson
OT Storm Norton
For the Cardinals:
QB Blaine Gabbert
WR Chad Williams
LB Deone Bucannon
LB Scooby Wright
G Will Holden
T Ulrick John
DL Robert Nkemdiche
