A new Lions season means Dan Miller is back again on the microphone. It means more “touchdown Detroit Lions!” and more “oh baby!” Hopefully you listen to Dan calling the games on WJR, but just in case, the highlights are here.
First we start with Stafford and Marvin Jones getting the Lions on the board. (Click here if you don’t see it below)
Matt Prater got the Lions three points from 58 yards out. (Click here)
Next was Stafford finding Theo Riddick, getting the Lions started when the game was sputtering early. The Lions were still struggling to get back in it. (Click here)
“Hey rookie, welcome to the D!” Kenny Golladay got his first touchdown in style. (Click here)
Golladay wasn’t done then. He laid out for a bomb from Matthew Stafford that set everyone’s jaws on the floor, and Dan was hollering. (Click here)
Finally, Miles Killebrew got in on the action with a pick-six to help put the game away for Detroit. (Click here)
We say this every year, but Dan Miller’s energy is infectious. Mark Champion was a legend on the microphone for the Lions, but Dan’s got untold excitement for this team and it shows every time they take the field.
