Sunday Night Football open thread: Giants at Cowboys

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, Sunday night.

“Sunday Night Football” is always that much sweeter after a Detroit Lions victory. It’s nice to sit back, enjoy the game and know that whoever loses will start Week 2 a game behind the Lions in the NFC race.

But Sunday’s game also has additional intrigued for the Lions. Their Week 2 opponent, the New York Giants, are in action against the Dallas Cowboys. Lions fans can start scouting their next opponent.

Odell Beckham Jr. has been declared inactive, so it’ll be interesting to see both how the Giants offense operates without him and if the rest will be enough for Beckham to be ready next Monday night when Detroit is in town.
