Lions-Giants injury report: Golden Tate a full participant in Friday’s practice

The Detroit Lions are looking very healthy heading into Week 2.

The Detroit Lions are as close to full health as a team can reasonably expect. Golden Tate, who has been dealing with a finger injury, was a full participant in Friday’s practice. That leaves just Ezekiel Ansah as the only player on the 53-man roster who was limited in any way. Ansah was still at practice, but is listed as limited by the knee injury that has been nagging him since the open of training camp.

For the Giants, the big story remains Odell Beckham Jr. The star wide receiver was again at Giants practice today. Head coach Ben McAdoo said he “got a little bit more today, but he’s still limited.” His status remains unknown for Monday.

The New York Giants also got two players back that sat out of Thursday’s practice. Starting right tackle Bobby Hart was limited on Friday with a sprained ankle. While linebacker Keenan Robinson cleared the next step in the concussion protocol by appearing with a no-contact jersey in practice, according to NJ.com.
