First Byte: Can the Lions stand up to the Falcons? A conversation with Kevin Knight

It’s birds vs. cats and we know who usually wins those fights.

The Lions and Falcons are both 2-0 and this game Sunday is getting a hell of a lot of hype. The best way to address hype is with your ears; that’s a proven scientific fact, jack. Use your ears, they’re telling you it’s so (it might just be tinnitus).

First Byte is joined this week by Kevin Knight, one of the happy miscreants who run The Falcoholic. He joined the crew to talk about the Falcons and break down their latest injuries, and the best ways to hopefully beat them.

This is also a momentous occasion as this marks the first time Jeremy had to host the podcast, as I was stuck working pretty hardcore this week. He was an adequate substitute.

To make up for my absence, I’ve added a special bonus to the podcast feed. I won’t link the player here; you’ll have to just find it on the main feed. It’s not Lions-related, but I joined up with an old friend to talk about a fun moment of Detroit sports media history.
