The finish to the NFC divisional game between the Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints is a moment that won’t be soon forgotten. In the city of Minneapolis, it will never be forgotten. It is moment that Vikings fans will be able to cherish for the rest of their lives.
But that was a hell of a moment for any sports fan. And there were plenty of Detroit Lions watching live that, too, were part of the moment. NFL players are also NFL fans, and no one could hold in their excitement/disbelief/amazement or whatever emotion they were going through at the moment.
Here’s a selection of Tweets from the Lions from the moment Stefon Diggs plucked the ball out of the air, and scampered an additional 35 yards for the game-winning score.

Part 4: Empathy
Kudos to Miles Killebrew and Darius Slay, who, as defensive backs, know what it’s like to occasionally get burned. They know Williams is going to through the toughest time in his life right now, and they showed some love for the Saints safety after the game.
As a DB, my heart goes out to that safety. https://t.co/H14R4bTAin
