NFL Wild Card Game 2 open thread: Falcons at Rams

Saturday’s NFL nightcap should be a good one.

Wow! What a finish and/or blowout or neither of the two! What a great/disappointing way to kick off the NFL Playoffs.

Now that the Chiefs or Titans have moved onto the divisional round, it’s time for an NFC team to advance, and this Saturday night cap should be a doozy.

The Los Angeles Rams took 2017 by storm. Expected to rebuild for a season or two under rookie head coach Sean McVay, the Rams got off to a surprise 3-1 start and never relented. Their move from 4-12 last year to 11-5 this year was the biggest improvement in the entire NFL.

The Falcons, on the other hand, needed to squeeze out a narrow Week 17 win in order to get a shot to defend their NFC championship crown.

The game should be an entertaining battle between two fairly balanced teams. Here’s how to watch:

No. 3 Los Angeles Rams vs. No. 6 Atlanta Falcons

Location: Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum — Los Angeles, CA
Date/Time: January 6, 2018 — 8:15 p.m. ET
Online streaming: NBCSports
Odds: Rams by 6
