The Detroit Lions have a chance to get back at .500 today as they take on the Miami Dolphins coming off of their Week 6 bye. A team who’s season looked lost only a few weeks ago is right back in the NFC North race and has a chance to end the day tied for the division lead with a win today.
On the other hand, a loss today drops the Lions to 2-4. That’s a hard hole to climb out from, especially for a team who felt that they could do better than 9-7 coming into the season.
Today will be a hot, humid, day at Hard Rock Stadium. It still feels like it’s the middle of Summer in Miami as temperatures are reaching the triple digit mark for today’s contest. Miami’s fast, high flying, offense is always hard to keep up with and the scorching sun doesn’t make anything easier.
The Dolphins will have to cope another week without their starting quarterback. Ryan Tannehill is set to miss another game with shoulder injury. Brock Osweiler took over starting duties last week and impressed in a victory over the Bears. Whether or not he can repeat that performance against the Lions today may decide this game.
Will the Lions be able to beat the heat and leave Miami victorious or will they take another blow this early in the season?
Watch with us and find out!
