Lions-Dolphins second half open thread

The Lions lead the Dolphons 17-7 going into the second half in Miami.

NFL: Detroit Lions at Miami Dolphins Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

The Lions lead the Dolphins 17-7 at halftime from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

The Lions suddenly have tight ends, with Michael Roberts coming up with a couple huge catches and Luke Willson consistently moving the chains. Kerryon Johnson lit up the field from his first touch which went for a first down and then some, and continued his performance with a 71-yard rush from deep in Lions territory. By the end of the first quarter, Johnson had already eclipsed 100 yards.

The Dolphins’ defense has looked confused in coverage on many occasions and Matthew Stafford has taken full advantage of it. On offense, Brock Osweiler is doing what he does best—game management—but Dolphins players are dropping like flies.

What stood out to you in the first half? Will the Lions wear out in the second half as the heat takes a toll? Can Kerryon top his first half performance with a second half encore? Let us know what you think in the comments.
