The Detroit Lions injury report is slimmed down this week. Running back Theo Riddick, who missed the Dolphins game with a knee injury, is the only player sitting out of practice for Detroit Thursday. The relatively clean bill of health the team has at the moment is something they will be hoping to sustain heading into this weekend’s pivotal matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
Still no Theo Riddick for the Lions on Thursday, but Darius Slay practiced in full and Jarrad Davis upgraded to limited. Better signs for both those players. https://t.co/TflqfANJpb pic.twitter.com/z2Ob5RbtmJ

What looked like a scary injury report on Wednesday trimmed down on Thursday. Wide receiver Golden Tate and running back Ameer Abdullah were both full participants on offense Thursday after being limited a day before with ankle injuries. All-pro cornerback Darius Slay was a full participant on defense after being limited Wednesday with a toe injury.
Tate and Slay are two of the most important players on the roster so them potentially reaching full health will be huge for Detroit going forward. With Riddick set to miss another game this week, Abdullah reaching full health will be a great boon to the Lions as they try to replace him.
Second-year linebacker Jarrad Davis missed practice Wednesday with a calf injury. He was limited in his return to action on Thursday. Davis is coming off of a career day in Miami and Detroit will hope that he remains healthy enough to keep his momentum going.
Defensive end Ezekiel Ansah was limited once again as he is still recovering from the shoulder injury he suffered Week 1.
