We’re under four hours away from the 2018 NFL trade deadline (4 p.m. ET, Tuesday), and for now, all is quiet. Despite rumors on Monday afternoon that the Detroit Lions are fielding offers for Golden Tate and even reported interest from Bob Quinn’s favorite trade partner, teams remain stationary for the time being.

Golden Tate, however, is sweating it out. Tuesday is the players’ day off, and Tate—like many Lions fans—is spending the day on Twitter awaiting news. Here’s how he’s feeling as of noon eastern time:

On Monday, Tate told the Detroit Free Press that he didn’t believe any of the trade rumors, and, in fact, believes he’s made progress towards a contract extension with the team.

That being said, Tate understands it’s a business and things like this happen. Whether his tweet was a legitimate reflection of his anxiety today, or just Tate flexing his comedy muscle remains to be seen. We’ll have to wait and see.
