Ask POD: Good Bye

The bye week can be an interesting time for a Detroit Lions fan. Sometimes, it’s a nice reprieve from stressful, frustrating football. Sometime, it’s an excuse to make the same, tired joke. “Well, at least the Lions didn’t lose this week!” It gets funnier every year, Uncle Ted. Thanks for reminding me why our family only sees you once a year.

Anyways, this year presents a different bye week. The Lions pulled off an impressive win over the Green Bay Packers, and while 2-3 isn’t a record to be partying over, it’s much better than the alternative of being miserable and hopeless for an extra week.

So this week, the PODcast is going to bask in the glory of beating a rival, even if it took a kicker meltdown to help get the dub.

We’ll have plenty to talk about this week, but we could always use some fresh questions to focus our discussion or take us completely off topic to talk about cheese and TV and 90s pop culture—even if that’s 15 years before Ryan’s time.
