Over the past few weeks, I’ve seen a few commenters ask for a post where fans can chat about the set of games after the Detroit Lions game. Well, this week, you can always get what you want.
There are only three late games this week, but two of them should be pretty interesting. First, there’s the NFC North relevant game of Dolphins vs. Packers. The Lions handled the Dolphins a few weeks back, but Green Bay needs this game desperately. At just 3-4-1 through eight games, head coach Mike McCarthy is under fire, and the Packers are in danger of falling far behind in the divisional race.
Additionally, there’s Seahawks vs. Rams. NFC West games always tend to be tight, and with the Rams dropping their first game of the season last week, suddenly they don’t look infallible. The Seahawks, on the other hand, have won four out of their last six, and while they did just drop a game to the Chargers, they always seem to play the Rams tough, and this could be a good one.
Here’s the afternoon slate, and here’s which games are playing in your neck of the woods.
Chargers at Raiders — 4:05 p.m. ET (FOX)
Dolphins at Packers — 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS)
Seahawks at Rams—4:25 p.m. ET (CBS)
