The Los Angeles Rams and Kansas City Chiefs have both been on absolute tears this season. They both enter Week 11 at 9-1 with their lone slip ups coming against other Super Bowl contenders. While the game being cross conference limits its effect on the actual playoff race, it is a good look at a potential Super Bowl matchup and a measuring stick for both squads.
The Rams have a chance to lock up the NFC West this week with a win and a Seattle Seahawks loss this Sunday. What they are really worried about, though, is keeping pace with the New Orleans Saints. The Saints beat the Rams in the Superdome a few weeks ago and Los Angeles can not afford another slip up if they want to earn home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
Kansas City looks like the odds-on favorite to host the AFC playoffs. The New England Patriots are hot on their heels, though, and a early season loss in Foxborough means the Chiefs will lose out on tie breakers against New England.
Both teams will not only want the win tonight but also the bragging rights involved. It should be a high paced shootout between two of the best NFL teams we have seen in recent years. Buckle in, this should be a good one!
