First Byte: How can the Lions upset the Vikings this week?

The PODcast crew tries to blueprint a Lions’ Week 9 victory.

NFL: Detroit Lions at Minnesota Vikings Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

The NFC North race is on and with one game separating first and last place, every game from here on out is crucial. Divisional games count as double, because not only does one team notch a win, but the other tallies a loss (or both teams get a tie, if you’re the Vikings and Packers).

Although morale is down in Detroit, a big game lies ahead for the Lions as they travel to U.S. Bank Stadium to take on the Vikings. The PODcast crew is here to break it all down, and try to formulate a way the Lions—as five-point underdogs—can pull off a big morale-boosting win over their NFC North foes.
