Detroit Lions - Chicago Bears Week 12 inactives: Teez Tabor a healthy scratch

The Lions have benched their young cornerback after recent struggles.

The Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears will officially be without key players for their Thanksgiving Day matchup on Thursday.

For the Lions, as expected they are without wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr. and runnin back Kerryon Johnson. However, the Lions will be getting defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson and tight end Michael Roberts back, after both missed Sunday’s game against the Panthers.

Cornerback Teez Tabor is a healthy scratch. The young cornerback has struggled in coverage over the past few weeks, and because the Lions added special teamer Don Carey earlier in the week, it made Tabor expendable.

For the Bears, Mitchell Trubisky is officially out after suffering a shoulder injury against the Vikings on Sunday. Veteran Chase Daniel will make his third career start, as the Lions will face their fourth backup quarterback in their past six Thanksgiving Day games. Daniel will be the least-experienced of them all, having started just two career games and thrown only 78 passes in nine years.

Here’s a look at both team’s inactives for Thursday.
