The Detroit Lions went another practice without two key starters on Thursday. Both cornerback Darius Slay and guard T.J. Lang remained sidelined as the Lions prepare to face off against the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

Slay was able to finish the game last week against the Vikings despite dealing with a knee injury the Friday prior. He is still dealing a knee issue and one has to wonder whether he’ll be able to fight through it this week. It’s not a particularly good week for Slay to miss, because Bears receiver Allen Robinson II is confident he’ll return to action after missing two games with a groin injury. Just how confident? Very:

Lang seem like a longer shot to play this week. The Lions veteran right guard was not able to finish last week’s game after suffering an injury during the Vikings’ fumble recovery touchdown. His replacement, Kenny Wiggins, has already played 250 replacement snaps this year, but has only managed a 47.7 PFF grade.
