Detroit Lions Week 16 inactives: Damon Harrison, Jamal Agnew active against Vikings

A short handed Lions team will fortunately have a few of its stars.

The Detroit Lions are beaten and bruised at the moment. With the additions of Bruce Ellington and Charles Washington Saturday, the team now has eleven players on injured reserve. With so many players on the sideline their gameday roster looks depleted for their Week 16 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.

Lions inactives include second year cornerback Teez Tabor, who is once again a healthy scratch. Chris Lacy and Dee Virgin, who were both recently added to the 53-man roster are also inactive Sunday.

A bit of injury luck did break the team’s way, though. Defensive tackle Damon Harrison Sr. will be active after being listed as questionable for much of the week with an ankle injury. Starting quarterback Matthew Stafford will continue his long running start streak as he will play despite a back injury. Jamal Agnew is also set to return from IR after missing much of the season with a knee injury.

Minnesota has a relatively clean bill of health. They will be without star linebacker Eric Kendricks, though, as he missed practice for much of this week with a hamstring injury.
