The Detroit Lions will be short a one key players for Sunday afternoon’s contest with the Arizona Cardinals.
Edge defender Devon Kennard will not play after suffering a hip injury during last week’s game against the Los Angeles Rams. Kennard returned to practice on Thursday—suggesting he was close to playing—but the Lions appear to be playing it safe with him, making him a Week 14 inactive.
Interestingly enough, Teez Tabor remains a healthy scratch for the third straight week.
In good news, Darius Slay and Matthew Stafford, both listed as questionable this week, are active and will play. Tight end Michael Roberts will also return this week after missing the Rams game with a shoulder injury. Detroit will also be getting back fullback Nick Bellore this week after missing a game with an ankle injury.
