Darius Slay has become one of the best corners in the NFL, but despite 16 career interceptions coming into today’s game against the Arizona Cardinals, he was missing an elusive stat: a defensive touchdown.

Slay can finally cross that off his career checklist.

In the third quarter, Slay jumped a Josh Rosen pass intended for receiver Trent Sherfield. After a slight bobble, Slay turned on the jets, running untouched into the end zone for a 67-yard interception return touchdown.

With the touchdown, the Lions defense has now outscored the offense. It hasn’t been the prettiest of games for the Lions, with numerous players leaving with injuries, but this will be a memorable moment for Slay.
