As you may have heard from us, Toto’s “Africa” celebrates it 35th anniversary of becoming a No. 1 hit on Monday. This just so happened to be the same day that the Detroit Lions hired their new head coach Matt Patricia.
Common visitors to this site know that we have adopted the hit 80s song as our “Victory Monday” song. We blare it any time something great has happened to the franchise, and this movement has spread to the team itself. They even created a video bringing in the new year using the song:
