WATCH LIVE: Detroit Lions introductory press conference for Matt Patricia

The time has come. There will be no Josh McDaniels moment in Detroit. Matt Patricia is in the Detroit Lions facility and he will be introduced as the next head coach shortly.

Whether you’re for or against the hire, this is an exciting day for the Detroit Lions franchise. The Matt Patricia era officially begins today, and he’ll kick it off at 3 p.m. ET with his introductory press conference.

The Lions will be streaming the conference live on DetroitLions.com, but they’ll also be broadcasting over Facebook and Periscope. Because of our awesome technology here at SB Nation, we will be able to embed those streams right here on this very page when they go live.
