It’s the final day of the NFL Combine, and oftentimes it’s the best to watch. The defensive backs have taken the field at Lucas Oil Stadium, and some have already put on blazing 40-yard dash times.
Defensive backs tend to be some of the most athletic players on the field. Though they may not be as tall and strong as most of the other players on the field, their speed and quickness are some of the best in all of sports.
The Detroit Lions don’t have an absolutely pressing need in the secondary, but with a handful of players facing free agency—including Tavon Wilson, Nevin Lawson and DJ Hayden—there is certainly a good chance Detroit takes at least one defensive back at some point in the draft.
