The Detroit Lions have hosted the Green Bay Packers in Week 17 for two straight seasons. Now it’s the Packers’ turn. According to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky, the Lions will travel to Lambeau for Week 17 to finish the regular season.
First bit of schedule news to report: The Packers will indeed open their 100th season at home in prime time. And it will be against the rival Bears. They'll also be home Week 17 against the Lions to close. https://t.co/Percw08n4e

This will now be the third straight year that the two teams will face off in the season finale and the third time in the past four years. The last time Green Bay hosted the season finale was back in 2014, with the NFC North title on the line. The Packers came away victorious, winning 30-20, however both teams would end up making the playoffs.
The Lions now have three pieces of their 2018 schedule leaked to the media. Here’s an overlook so far:
- Lions will host the Jets in Week 1 on “Monday Night Football”
- Patriots at Lions: Week 3
- Lions at Packers Week 17
As a reminder, here are all 13 teams the Lions will face in 2018.
