Thursday open thread: Who should the Detroit Lions draft in the first round?

New, comments

It’s draft day! Time to vote on your favorite first round prospect.

NFL: Combine Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

Draft Day is finally here. At 8 p.m. ET, the 2018 NFL Draft will begin and all 32 teams will prepare to utilize the days upon days and hours upon hours of scouting the personnel department has been doing for over a year now.

Unlike previous years, there isn’t a favorite for the Detroit Lions’ first-round draft pick. Sitting at 20th overall, it seems like the possibilities are endless for the Lions, and as a result, mock drafts have been all over the place. Linebackers, defensive ends, offensive guards, cornerbacks, defensive tackles, centers and even tight ends have been mocked to the Lions throughout the past four months.

But now it’s time to make your choice. Now it is time for the Lions fanbase to let their choice be heard. Today’s Question of the Day is:

Who should the Detroit Lions draft in the first round.

My answer: [REDACTED]

Sorry, you’re just going to have to wait for my choice/prediction. We have staff predictions coming later in the day. In the meantime, I don’t want to sway the poll results below.

Let’s hear it. What should be the name on the Lions’ draft card on Thursday night?
